This website, Shells to Satoshi (Shells to Satoshi), is owned and operated by Deanna Heikkinen. It is a simple book information site. There are no user accounts, no newsletter signups, and no on-site purchases. Books are sold through Amazon and other retailers linked from these pages. A contact form on this site lets you send a message to the site owner for schools, media, or speaking.

What we collect

The only personal information we ask for on this site is what you choose to send through the contact form (name, email, and message). We do not run a mailing list or create user accounts.

Like most websites, the hosting provider may automatically log basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. That logging is for security and reliability of the host, not for marketing profiles built by us.

Cookies and analytics

This static site does not set marketing cookies of its own. If a future analytics or hosting tool adds a cookie, we will update this page. Third party sites you leave to (Amazon and social networks) have their own privacy policies.

Purchases

When you buy a book, you check out with Amazon or another retailer. Their privacy policy and terms govern that purchase. We do not process card numbers or shipping addresses on this site.

Contact form

Messages sent through the contact form are delivered to the site owner by email so she can reply. We use the details you provide only to handle your request. We do not sell or rent email addresses. Form submissions are not stored in a public database on this site.

Children

This site is general audience information about books. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top will change when we do.
